Yesterday

Leonnie came over yesterday (first time this year I think). We all ate chips with rolls! Then played Cluedo DVD version and this time the inspector told us that one of US had done it! Unlike last time when Paul misread a note from the inspector. Turns out it was Leonnie! (Lady Lavender). During play Leonnie said she felt like she was hunched over because we were sitting on the floor so Paul proceeded to call her Quasimodo and I think she almost spat out her juice. You know a joke has gone down well with Leonnie if she spits out her juice or looks like she has fallen asleep.

A Little Different Today

I'm going to blog my usual stuff but in the form of a poem this time, so unlike my other poems which have no real meaning, this one shall.

Yesterday Leonnie came over for the day
We all played Cluedo for most of her stay
And when we tried to figure it out
I can tell you everyone was in doubt!
For one simple reason and that reason being....

The inspector told us that not any of us had done it
Then Paul read us an inspectors note that announced we HAD done it
As we crossed off mustard, and we crossed of Green
I wrote in my notes "Rusty did it!" then found it had not been
Rusty I mean

The truth is that Paul
Yes, that's right Paul
Had misread
While eating bread

So to him, I simply say
On behalf of the Crew
"Goddamnit Bud!"

We were all so confused
We even mused
that the the inspector
might be lying

So to you all I say
Read real carefully

A very poetic story

Walking around my house I noticed a strange feeling in the air
How was I to know it was Leonnie standing over there?
I walked to Leonnie and I walked to Bud
Luckily they were standing together or I would've split in half
I rested an arm on the wall and asked if they wanted to play Cluedo
Bud said, "Hey, now, Laura that's real low"
He reminded me that we had to do a show

30 seconds later those tasty, tasty chips arrived
From a car that to my door drived
Bud opened the chips and what did I see but multiple pickles
Needless to say Leonnie and I laughed like we was being tickled
Bud refused his intake of pickles so what could we do but what we did?
Leonnie and I ate all the pickles even though Paul, I mean Bud, did forbid

Alright, found one. This was from 2 weeks ago I think but at least it's still of me and Leonnie so maybe you can just imagine this is what we looked like yesterday. Again Leonnie on the left, me on the right.....hmm it seems Leonnie's always on the left and I'm always on the right.....oh well, why mess with what works? In between us is a pic'n'mix! Oh yeah! I remember when you had to weigh the pic'n'mix before you bought it and now Leonnie tells me all you have to do is fill it to the top. How times have changed.

Also, should probably have wrote this in the last post but nevermind - I noticed yesterday a lot of similarities between poker and Cluedo for instance, the deception, a lot of the time in Cluedo as with poker you have to deceive people and purposely (in cluedo) not show certain people certain cards (I like to call it hoarding!). Sometimes deceiving people by what you say helps too, for instance yesterday everyone kept asking and where the hell Mrs White was and so I joined in and started accusing Paul of hoarding her, ofcourse I was the one with Mrs White, but nobody else knew that. Maybe my theory is correct or maybe I'm just trying to make Cluedo a little more cool.

Hey all!

Just sitting here thought I'd drop you all a line.....infact scratch that, it doesn't make sense - I've been reading a lot of Dashiell Hammett. Anyhow, sitting here with a can of coke and a Wonka Bar.

Leonnie came over today, we played Cluedo - Leonnie won! Good chips today also. Will post pictures and what not tomorrow.

Hold on going to open my Wonka Bar..........................hey! What the.............hold on there's something in my Wonka Bar.......................*GASP!!!!!!* AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!! It's a golden ticket!!!!!!! Wow, I never thought my life would be anything but catastrophe but suddenly something something something cos I've got a golden ticket! It's ours Charlie! I've got a.........WAIT!!! NO!!! It's not ours Charlie! It's MINE! I'VE got a golden ticket, not YOU! Yay! I get to go to my own factory!
