I'm having trouble figuring out which photo looks better. Sometimes when I look at my photos for too long I stop seeing what they actually look like. So I need your help.
Look at the 2 photos below, one is black and white, one is colour. Which do you think is better?

You can just say black and white or colour or you can elaborate, it's up to you.

Although I generally prefer b/w photos, in this case I would have to go with the colour photo. The shadow of the hat obscures the upper portion of your face too much in the b/w one.
i prefer also like your friend the 3rd from the top... and for the comparison i think that you can do better then those 2, wich you acctually proved before... keep up the good work and c ya ...
Colour is the spice of life... or is that variety? Hmmm
My preference is the color photo.

There is no choice. Your exquisite mystery must remain in black and white
B/W works better when you've got the contrast to support it -- there's not enough in this picture. The color one wins this round. Now maybe with some selected color highlights to the B/W photo...
Laura, usually I'm a bigger fan of the B&W's, as it has more of a vintage look.
This photo, however, looks better in color.
Keep posting!

If you want to look like a 30's movie star then it's B & W
I don't think I like the photo whether in colour or black and white. Not enough mystery and shadow.
I think this one would look great in sepia tones...
