Sup?
Went to TESCO's today to get a few more presents for certain people. This photograph is all the proof you need...
I'm playing with the fake flowers, what's cool about those you say? No pollen! Yay!
FYI that white thing in my ear is my earphones.
P.S. For anyone who is reading this and is getting an Xmas present from me, I am not getting you fake flowers so you can relax, they'll be cool.
P.P.S. Only 4 days til Xmas!

My favourite show at the moment
Just wanted to share this with you all, a show I really like called
"刀锋1937". I love it and I managed to find the start and end credits to show you.
Give them a few seconds to load.

Hey
It's 00.44 right now and for those of you who don't do the 24 hour clock it's 12.45 am. I realize that's 2 different times but the time changed while I was typing this. Okay, anyway, I'm listening to Richie Ren as I'm typing incase you're interested, but anyway...how much more rambling do you think I could fit into this paragraph? Let's start a new one this one's turned weird.
Christmas update: I've bought most of the presents I need to buy. Here's my advent calender (Paul has a Homer one, he said I should have the Bart one because he had a Bart one last year)
It's very Christmassy in my house right now, the decorations are up, the Christmas tree lights are on, there's snow falling outside and my Dad is waiting up til 4am to watch 2 guys beat each other up. Very Christmassy. Nice.

Sup?
Okay, yesterday I said that I promise I will blog today. Didn't feel much like it but I am doing it because a promise is a promise and I don't like to break them. So with 5 minutes before midnight I am infact blogging on the day I promised to blog!
I've been watching the new Michio Kaku show on BBC4 (why do you guys put all his shows on a little channel like that instead of a mainstream channel?!). My advice is WATCH IT! In my opinion Dr Michio Kaku is the most interesting, entertaining theoretical physicist there is. I admit I don't know a lot of theoretical physicists, although I do know a lab scientist...no, forget that.
Anyway, check out his website, it's got all the times and dates of the show and a lot of other cool stuff too.
Dr. Michio Kaku
And now, Autumn photos. Enjoy.
P.S. I want an Asimo!

Update
Hello everybody! Not blogged in a week or so, so here I am now.
On Halloween I made enchiladas and as you can see in the picture I wore all black in honour of Halloween. Yes I realize enchiladas have nothing to do with Halloween but they're damned tasty! (note to self: too many uses of the words Halloween and enchiladas in this paragraph)
That'll do for now, I'll post more interesting stuff tomorrow, I promise!

Top 5
Here we are again with another installment of "Top 5"! Who would've believed it had come all this way? Okay, none of that makes sense.
Top 5 ways people get to my blog
Top 5 ways people get to my blog
- My Flickr
- Searching Google for "Laura D McBryde"
- Searching Google for "Hello, Mrs Cumberdale"
- Searching Google for "Norman Chad" and/or "5 of Spades"
- No referring link - which makes me sad because then I don't know how they got there. Damn.

Some Funny YouTube Videos For Those Of You Who Are Bored
You know what? I'm gonna make this just for Whose Line Is It Anyway videos. I've been watching that show for years, even back when it used to just be the British version. Although I do agree the American version is better! Let's get started here
Three videos is enough for now!

A Few Different Things
I was in town on Monday and was shocked to find out someone has put bubbles in the fountain!
But later I questioned him on it and he claims it was a "copy cat" because this is what him and his friends do when they go to different countries.
An update on my learning of Mandarin - (I am using the Pimsleur mp3's) I am at the point where, when I watch Phoenix, I can understand 30-40% of what is said. Nice.
Here's something cool I can say: I learned the word love from listening to Richie Jen! (that's actually true!)
What else? Hmm...that's all I can think of right now. I'll post later!

Random Things
I can't wait til tomorrow, Paul is going to buy a bunch of chicken and bring it in. And right now I am very hungry for chicken!
CLICK HERE FOR STEPHEN COLBERT'S IMPRESSION OF RAIN
(OR HERE FOR THE LONGER VERSION)
It's hilarious. I like how according to Rain's website his motto is "Endless effort, endless endurance, endless modesty" and Colbert replies with "Oh yeah?! Well my motto is INFINITE modesty! And buddy I will carve that on the face of the moon!"

Here's the deal...
I have a little problem with certain tv channels cutting scenes from tv shows. I'll explain....
- I was watching Scrubs on Paramount Comedy channel a few days ago and I started to notice that I had never seen parts of it before even though I had seen this episode. Lucky for me I found out the reason pretty quickly as E4 had the exact episode on the same night. Turns out I first watched this episode on E4 and they had cut out scenes! You don't even need to watch the episode to figure it out because on E4 it lasts 25 minutes (including adverts!) and on Paramount it last 30 minutes! To E4 I say this: You may think cutting the episode of irrelevant plot is a good idea so that you can have more time for other things on your channel but this is Scrubs! The little irrelevant jokes is what makes it Scrubs!
- Ooh, I am playing poker at this exact second and I thought I had aces but turns out some guy just turned over his hand. Damn it.
- Over here Law & Order comes on 3 channels - Hallmark, Sky One and Five. Hallmark is clearly the best channel to watch it. Sky One AND Five change the title sequence and music as well as cut out scenes. This is very annoying. Stop doing it.

Comparison
Why am I the only one who noticed the similarities between the Celebrity Deathmatch guys and Lon and Norm from WSOP?
I actually thought the they were based on Lon and Norm but I can find no mention of it anywhere on the internet!
Johnny Gomez = Lon McEachern
Nick Diamond = Norman Chad
For sure.
Tell me I'm wrong here. I dare you!

Random Things I Find Interesting
- Jerry Lewis playing Richard Belzer's uncle. (Law & Order: SVU)
- The war in Iraq has been going on for exactly a quarter of my life.
- The Cluedo house.
- When Paul and I were children we used to play spies, but not like other children play spies (running around shooting, etc), we would do what real spies do; 15 minutes of surveillance then 2 hours of paperwork. Seriously.
- Lab Scientists.
- Smoothie Ice Lollies.

A bunch of poker stuff
Yesterday, Paul was playing on William Hill and guess who was sitting next to him?
I'll tell you! Jamie Gold! 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion, Jamie Gold. We confirmed it by using SharkScope and yes it was him.
Why was he playing at the £1 Sit n Go's on William Hill? I don't know. Ask him yourself.
Here's the proof!
Zoom in, you'll see it better (Paul is Casio1000).
What else? Oh, you know how everyone is always talking about Chinese poker? I had no idea what it was until a few hours ago. It always sounded mysterious and complicated. That is, until I found out that it is actually a game I used to play all the time as a child called Crash! Each player gets 13 cards and you basically just make regular poker hands and put them in order.
So now when I read Phil Hellmuth's blog and see him writing about how he lost $500,000 playing Chinese poker against Phil Ivey, I know exactly what he's talking about. And it's weird because to me nowadays that's a child's game!

Bus
For those of you who don't know, my neighbour Fredrick is a bus driver and on Tuesday I looked out the window to see a huge bus parked outside his house. So Paul texts him and somehow we end up on the bus.

Waiting For My Domino's Pizza
I just tricked Paul into paying for the Domino's pizza, he is easily tricked. That's all for now, just waiting on the delivery guy.
Note to Leonnie: The "dragon game" was originally called "the draggin' game" because we would get dragged down the stairs. Somewhere along the way we must've got confused and turned Paul into a dragon...

General Update
- I've just started watching my Six Feet Under Season 4 box set. I find it hilarious how Rico always has some anger brewing under the surface, and he could get offended by a comment at any second.
- Last night I watched Paul play poker online. Usually he gets bored during the big tournaments so every so often I'd entertain him with my Scotty Nguyen impression. There was also a guy at the table who had a picture of Hitler beside him, which led to us saying odd sentences like, "Hitler's playing like a maniac!".
- I've downloaded some Wang Zhifei shows, going to watch them later tonight.
- Enjoying a dog free home.
- Apparently I can get a free laptop from PC World but I'll have to look into it more.
Here's something cool Paul made for me.
