The high percentage of smokers that are ALWAYS in the big brother house. It's way higher than the general public. What's going on there?! Maybe so they can punish them by taking away the cigarettes? Who the fork knows.
When a protestor interrupts a Donald Trump rally, he routinely says "They're professional agitators". Mr Trump, I think YOU'RE the professional agitator.
Black Jelly Babies. They are the tastiest! Like I've always said, once you go black jelly baby you don't go back jelly baby.
Hayfeves. That's my cool new word for hayfever. Aw man av got the hayfeves. Full blast. (Full blast is also my cool new phrase.)
If they had let me join the army when I first applied I'd be a Lieutenant Colonel by now. Lieutenant Colonel Laura D. ...sounds good to me!
The best part of that "Ring My Bell" song is how it goes on and on about the bell. You can ring my bell. Ring my bell. My bell. Ring my bell.
Jerry Lewis playing Richard Belzer's uncle. (Law & Order: SVU)
The war in Iraq has been going on for exactly a quarter of my life.
The Cluedo house.
When Paul and I were children we used to play spies, but not like other children play spies (running around shooting, etc), we would do what real spies do; 15 minutes of surveillance then 2 hours of paperwork. Seriously.
Lady From Shanghai Scene - Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth, I don't think I have to explain why this is good.
Pennies From Heaven Scene - I love this movie, it is so underrated and it annoys me how regular people don't "get it". Basically in this scene, Steve Martin takes homeless guy for a meal. For some reason this movie really inspires me everytime I see it, the writing, the music, the set decoration, everything! Makes me want to go finish writing what Paul refers to as my "Woody Allen style movie".
Gilda Scene - Johnny (Glenn Ford) is awakened by some distant music "At first I thought I was dreaming it. I'd been hearing her voice in my sleep for nights anyway..." then this scene ensues.
Paul is still telling me I should go off my meds because, quote, "it'll be hilarious."
Daniel Negreanu's new house.
The very underrated movie "Don't Bother To Knock" starring Marilyn Monroe and Richard Widmark.
Right now I am watching the Phoenix channel, a show called Jade Guanyin, I obviously don't know what they're saying since it's Chinese but there is a guy I've named Stephen and he's crying at this very moment. Breaks my heart to see young Stephen cry. (he may also be on drugs, I think that's what I've gathered)
"In my case, self-absorption is completely justified. I have never discovered any other subject quite so worthy of my attention." - Waldo Lydecker in the movie "Laura".
When I was on the bus today the driver looked exactly like Nathaniel Fisher Sr. Then a guy in a car was driving towards the bus, he also looked exactly like Nathaniel Fisher Sr and was rustling around looking for something in his car. I was sure episode 1 of Six Feet Under was about to be re-enacted (with the odd exception that Nathaniel Sr would be driving the bus). It didn't happen.
On Friday I will turn 20 years old! I'm excited about this not because it's my birthday but because 19 sounds like an idiot's age.
"I passionately hate the idea of being with it; I think an artist has always to be out of step with his time." - Orson Welles
The 9 muses in Greek mythology. (I found out about this after watching an incredibly weird Rita Hayworth movie) They are goddesses who rule over different parts of the arts. For instance Terpsichore is the muse of dance and Calliope who is the muse of epic poetry.
Cluedo DVD Version!!!!!!

How you never see Anderson Cooper laugh until he talks to Richard Quest
How I always have so many ideas spinning around my head for my blog then when I actually try to write something I can't think of anything!
Penn & Teller. My uncle gave my brother Paul and I "Penn & Teller's Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends" book when we were children. I still have it....I don't know where it is....but I know it is
The Joker's Masquerade website. I buy a lot of my regular day-to-day clothes on that site, yes I know it's weird, but they look a lot cooler than the kind of clothes you can get from real shops.
Nathan Landau (the name and the person!) in Sophie's Choice (hint, hint at my birthday present. Paul! Are you listening?!! Damn you!)
